America’s Car-Mart Inc. of Rogers hired Holly Thomson as chief digital officer.
Thomson joins the used car company from Wells Fargo, where she was senior vice president of digital production & strategy. She has more than 20 years experience in financial services.
“Opportunities in the digital and data areas of our business are enormous, and Holly Thomson will be a critically important leader for America’s Car-Mart,” company CEO Jeff Williams said. “Her broad and extensive automotive industry experience together with her strong team-oriented approach will allow us to maximize important growth initiatives.”
Williams said Thomson will oversee America’s Car-Mart new loan origination system. The system is designed to improve customer’s ability to get pre-approved loans online.
“Their passion for delivering the best customer and associate experience is as impressive as the line-up of digital initiatives the team currently has underway to become the best integrated auto sales and finance company,” Thomson said.
America’s Car-Mart also announced that Steve Taylor would be the company’s director of acquisition, a newly created role within the organization. Taylor was the owner of Taylor Motor Co. and Auto Credit of Southern Illinois when America’s Car-Mart acquired the three-dealership franchise in late 2019.
Taylor will oversee America’s Car-Mart’s acquisition strategy.
