Paula Moran has been promoted to a mortgage loan officer in the central Arkansas market for Relyance Bank of White Hall. Moran has 10 years of banking experience.
Capital One Public Funding of McLean, Virginia, has hired two new senior vice presidents. Mark Killingsworth and Mark Brown both join Capital One from Crews & Associates of Little Rock and will be responsible for originating municipal transactions for Capital One’s direct lending portfolio.
Carrie Simpson has been selected as director of Western services development for Southwest Power Pool of Little Rock. Simpson will lead the development of electricity services in the Western U.S. and will direct implementation of wholesale electricity markets and other electricity services in partnership with stakeholders.
America’s Car-Mart Inc. of Rogers has added two employees. Steve Taylor is now the director of acquisitions. He fills a newly created role to oversee expansion efforts and has been in the industry for 25 years, with America’s Car-Mart recently acquiring his company, Taylor Motors. Holly Thomson is the new chief digital officer. Thomson, who has 20 years of experience, will oversee initiatives around the utilization of data and the completion and rollout of the company’s new loan origination system.
