Merchants & Farmers Bank of Dumas announced that Lance Penfield has been elected to its board of directors.
Penfield is co-owner of Baxley-Penfield-Moudy Realtors in Bryant and has 36 years of experience as a commercial real estate broker. He has served Saline County with numerous leadership positions and currently serves on the Encore Heart Hospital Board and the Bryant Planning Commission.
The bank said in a news release that Penfield will "help the bank’s vision for expansion." Growth plans led the $200 million-asset lender to boost its capital through a $9 million subordinated debt offering in August.
In addition to Dumas, the bank has locations in Bryant and Benton.
