Conway Corp. has announced six promotions. There were two promotions in the cable department. Wesley Manion has been promoted from telecom business class services technician 2 to 3. Matthew Stephens has been promoted from telecom installer technician 1 to 2. The electric department saw three promotions. Jim Simpson has been promoted from journeyman lineman to senior lineman. He joined Conway Corp. in 1991 as a groundman. Scott Ussery has been promoted from senior lineman to senior foreman, electric distribution system. Gordon Valentine has been promoted to underground service technician 2. In the wastewater department, Landon Green has been promoted from plant operator apprentice to lab technician at the wastewater treatment plant.
Alicia Woolman is the new executive director of the East Arkansas Crossroads Coalition of Wynne. Woolman previously worked at the Arkansas Department of Commerce and will now collaborate with stakeholders and communities to develop businesses.
The members of the Arkansas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners elected new officers. Andy Miller of Flywheel Energy in Little Rock is the new president and Nathan Caldwell of Weiser-Brown Operating in Magnolia is the new secretary. The following were also elected to serve two-year terms on the board of directors: Richard Walt, J. David Reynolds Co. of Camden; Catherine Nobles Medlock, MacFarlane Company-USA LLC of El Dorado; Griffin Hanna, Hanna Oil & Gas of Fort Smith; Charlie Wohlford, Wolf Exploration Inc. of Fort Smith; and Jay Prudhomme, Merit Energy Company of Dallas. AIRPRO is a nonprofit that serves the state’s oil and natural gas industry.
