Gary Edwards is the new executive vice president and chief audit officer at Encore Bank of Little Rock. Edwards has worked for 21 years as an accountant serving financial institutions and will oversee Encore’s internal audit functions, evaluation of operational policies, procedures, internal controls and governance processes.
Greg Rotter has been promoted to corporate chief lending officer at Chambers Bank of Danville. Rotter will fill a newly created position that will oversee lending operations at the bank’s 24 branches. Rotter previously served as regional president for the western region of the bank and has more than 25 years of experience in banking.
Darrin Williams has been selected for the annual 100 People Transforming Business list by Insider of New York City. The list honors leaders who are driving change and innovation. Williams was one of 10 selected to represent the diversity, equity and inclusion category.
Daniel Schutte is the new vice president of strategic partnerships at The Venture Center of Little Rock. In this new role, Schutte will be responsible for building additional accelerators, corporate innovation and economic development programs. Schutte joined the center in 2018 and has served as managing director of financial technology accelerator programs since 2020.
Jim Phillips has been promoted to partner at McDaniel Wolff PLLC of Little Rock, and Brittany Webb has been promoted to litigation associate. Phillips has more than 15 years of law experience and focuses on real estate, estate trust and litigation, business litigation, banking, finance and bankruptcy. Webb will focus on commercial litigation, business torts, breach of contract and government relations. She joins the firm from Washington, D.C., where she represented tribal governments in federal law and self-governance.
Access Control Devices Inc. of Benton has earned the Best MPS Professional Services Award from the Managed Print Services Association. The awards recognize leaders of the managed print services community with more than one full-time employee. ACDI has been a vendor member of the MPSA since 2018, and Mark Hart, ACDI’s vice president of business development, is treasurer of the executive committee.
