Micheal Scialla to Lead Energy Equity Research at Stephens

Stephens Inc. of Little Rock announced that Michael Scialla has joined the firm as a managing director and will lead energy equity research coverage.

Scialla will be based in Denver. His career in financial services has included energy research roles at Stifel, A.G. Edwards and HS Resources. He has also worked as a geophysical analyst for Chevron.

"Michael is a consummate professional with deep knowledge of the energy sector that spans finance and geophysics," Nik Fisken, Stephens head of institutional equities and research, said in a news release. "His 30-year career arc includes a diversity of disciplines that is perfectly suited to the changing nature of energy. We look forward to leveraging Michael’s unique insights with clients."

Scialla earned a bachelor's in geophysical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a master's in finance from the University of Colorado.
