Arkansas Hunger Relief Announces New Board Members

The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance announced the appointment of three new board members.

They are: 

  • Brian Burton, CEO of the Arkansas Foodbank and native Arkansan. He brings over 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience to the Alliance board. During his recent 11-year tenure at Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas, Burton nearly tripled the amount of food provided to the community.
  • Amy Dafler Meaux, dean and rector of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from The Louisiana Scholars’ College at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She received a Master of Divinity from Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. Prior to seminary, she served two Episcopal schools in Louisiana. 
  • Will Montgomery, technical director for the Arkansas Soccer Association. He is a past president of the Arkansas Foodbank board of directors and a graduate of Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, Leadership of Greater Little Rock, Class of XXIII. 

“We are excited to start 2023 with our new board in place,” Kathy Webb, CEO of the nonprofit, said in a news release. “Our Board of Directors is a dedicated team of leaders committed to our vision of creating a hunger-free Arkansas. We are honored Brian, Amy, and Will want to volunteer their expertise to further our mission.”
