Arvest Bank of Fayetteville has announced two new hires at its non-bank subsidiary the Arvest Opportunity Fund, which provides loans and lines of credit to small business below bank loan requirements.
Joy Hapeman has been named the fund's senior manager of lending programs. She has 25 years of industry experience and most recently served as regional consumer loan sales manager for Arvest Bank in Fayetteville and Siloam Springs.
In her new role, Hapeman will be based in Fayetteville and ensure appropriate training and provide support and guidance to Arvest associates involved with Arvest Opportunity Fund lending customers and products.
Alex Sanchez has been hired as the fund's education project manager. He has 15 years of industry experience and most recently served as community development senior representative for Arvest Bank in Fort Smith, where he will remain based.
In his new role, Sanchez will lead the day-to-day implementation, evaluation and reporting related to the Arvest Opportunity Fund’s financial education efforts, among other responsibilities.
