Chelsea O'Kelley of Little Rock has been named director of communications for the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas, the groups announced Wednesday.
O'Kelley joins the private, nonprofit organizations from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, where she led the state agency’s efforts to coordinate and implement public relations strategies to promote business activity and economic growth throughout the state.
Before then, O’Kelley spent nearly five years serving in former Gov. Asa Hutchinson's administration. Her roles included deputy director of communications, press secretary and digital communications coordinator/speechwriter.
O'Kelley is a native of Garland, Texas. She graduated from John Brown University with a bachelor’s in communications with an emphasis in public relations.
