Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock on Wednesday held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new 10-bed critical care unit.
The addition brings the total number of critical care beds at the hospital to 44.
“At Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock, we continue to increase access to life-saving care for those in greatest need,” Cody Walker, president of the hospital, said in a news release. “The addition of this state-of-the-art ICU is an embodiment of our organizational mission to improve the health of Arkansans by changing the way health care is delivered.”
CDI Contractors completed construction and Nashville-based Earl Swensson Associates Inc. was the architect on the project.
