Teresa Hudson has been named assistant dean for health services research at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in Little Rock. Hudson is a professor in the school’s Psychiatry Department and co-director of UAMS AR ConnectNOW in the Psychiatric Research Institute.

Marcella Jones recently joined the Baptist Health Family Clinic-Massard in Fort Smith. She has nearly 10 years of experience and will practice wellness exams, preventive screenings and acute care visits for illness and injury on patients 2 and older.

Josh Maloney
Josh Maloney (North Arkansas Regional Medical Center)

Josh Maloney, director of pharmacy services at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center of Harrison, has been elected as the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists delegate and representative for Arkansas from the Arkansas Association of Health-System Pharmacists. Maloney will serve a three-year term as a delegate, and will be responsible for helping to establish policies for ASHP and its members.

Thomas Merritt has been named executive director of business services at Washington Regional of Fayetteville. In his new role, Merritt will be responsible for hospital and clinic billing, customer service, legal collections and patient financial services operations.

Kenley Money, director of information systems architecture at the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement in Little Rock, has been elected board chair of the National Association of Health Data Organizations for 2023. Money previously served as a board member and board secretary for NAHDO.

Vickie Murray has been elected president of the Washington Regional Medical Center Auxiliary of Fayetteville. Murray will represent the auxiliary within the medical center and the community to promote and advocate for the welfare of the medical center through volunteer staffing, in-service projects and fundraising.

Presley Phillips
Presley Phillips (Baptist Health)

Presley Phillips has joined the Baptist Health Family Clinic in Alma as a family nurse practitioner. Phillips is an advanced practice registered nurse and will provide services such as chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, family medicine and school and sports physicals.
