Missouri Firm Buys 2 Fire Protection Companies in Arkansas

Marmic Fire & Safety of Joplin, Missouri announced that it has purchased two fire protection firms in northeast Arkansas: Absolute Fire Protection of Paragould and West Memphis Fire Extinguisher Co.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

In a news release, Marmic said the acquisitions will broaden service options for fire alarms, fire sprinklers and other fire suppression systems in the region.

The company also installs and services security and access control systems, and offers personal protection equipment, such as hard hats, safety glasses and reflective vests.

"These acquisitions underpin our strategic growth in areas where there is a need for a comprehensive life safety provider. We’re proud to have the ability to take care of all the fire protection equipment needs of our customers."

Marmic also announced the acquisitions of Kansas City Fire & Security of Olathe, Kansas, and F.L. Sons Fire Equipment Co. of Mackinaw, Illinois.

Marmic now has 40 offices across 18 states.
