Arvest Wealth Management announced that it has hired Kendra Cain as chief compliance officer.

Cain replaces the retiring Tom Harps, who is stepping down after 17 years in the position.

Cain brings more than 20 years of experience to the job, Arvest Wealth said in a news release. She comes to Arvest from Tennessee-based First Horizon Advisors, where she had been chief compliance officer since July 2021, according to her LinkedIn page. Before then, she spent 10 years in compliance at Iberia Financial Services.

In her new role, Cain will be responsible for the general oversight and support of the Arvest Wealth investments and insurance compliance program and team.

"Kendra’s extensive experience managing compliance programs at large financial institutions will be an invaluable asset to our company," Asa Cottrell, Arvest Wealth president and CEO, said in the release. "We are excited to add her knowledge and expertise to the Arvest Wealth Management team as we continue to grow and navigate the changing regulatory landscape."

Cain holds a bachelor’s from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned the Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional designation through the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.

She is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary and holds several FINRA licenses, as well as a Louisiana Life and Health Insurance license.
