The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has opened its UAMS Health Orthopaedic & Spine Clinic in North Little Rock where patients can be treated for sports medicine, interventional pain mangement and orthopaedics for feet, hips, knees and shoulders.
The clinic is located at 4261 Stockton Dr.
"UAMS Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is so excited to bring our subspecialty patient-centered approach to North Little Rock," Dr. C. Lowry Barnes, chair of the UAMS College of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, said in a statement.
The Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital will open June 1 on the UAMS main campus in Little Rock, a UAMS news release said.
"Our goal is always to provide the best care by a doctor specializing in the area of orthopaedics most needed by the patient," Barnes said. "We also know that location of care matters and believe that the opening of this clinic in North Little Rock... is a huge win for patients."
The North Little Rock Clinic is open M - F, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
