The National Bicycle Dealers Association announced that it will host its 2023 Retailer Summit in Bentonville on May 24-25.
The two-day event will provide an opportunity for bicycle retailers to connect with industry leaders, network with peers and gain valuable insight on best practices around current and future industry needs, the association said in a news release. It will feature a variety of informative sessions, workshops and interactive discussions.
Heather Mason, president of the association, said the summit will highlight the issue of ridership growth, as well as ways to transform communities around the bicycle.
"The Summit will provide an opportunity to unite retailers and suppliers in open conversations," she said in the release. "A catalyst to be frank about the issues we face while engaging in an authentic experience to collectively determine the best course forward."
The summit will take place at the 21C Museum Hotel Bentonville. It will feature a lineup of industry experts including speaker Stuart Hunter, CEO of Roll Bicycles.
The summit is being held during the Bentonville Bike Fest, a three-day festival featuring over 120 brands in expo, races and consumer events.
