G&G Independent Insurance of Fayetteville announced that it has expended to Branson, Missouri through the acquisition of Robbins Insurance Group.
The transaction took effect May 1. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In a news release, G&G said the deal will "strengthen G&G's position as a leading and growing independent insurance agency in the region." The company is licensed to operate in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, Tennessee and Utah.
Robbins Insurance was founded by Blake Robbins in early 2018. In a statement, he said he started the company because he felt the area was underserved in property and casualty insurance, specifically for personal lines like home, auto, toys and nightly rentals.
"We see this merger as a way to further achieve our goal," Robbins said.
As part of the merger, Robbins Insurance employees will join the G&G team. Robbins will continue to own and operate Robbins Financial, serving clients’ financial planning needs and as a consultant to G&G during the transition period.
"We are thrilled to welcome Robbins Insurance Group to the G&G team," Jordan Greer, G&G's founder and CEO, said in the release. "Their commitment to providing exceptional service aligns perfectly with our own values, and we are confident that this consolidation of efforts will enable us to better serve our clients in Branson and beyond."
