Armor Bank of Forrest City announced that Melissa Powell has been named director of marketing and human resources.
Powell brings more than three decades of experience in marketing, advertising, and graphic design to the role, the bank said in a news release. Most recently, she was the marketing and communications director at Farm Credit Midsouth of Jonesboro, a regional agricultural and rural lending business.
Powell previously ran her own marketing firm where she served a broad range of clients in the health care, agriculture, retail, technology and manufacturing industries.
“Melissa is the perfect addition to the Armor Bank team,” Chad May, CEO of Armor Bank said in the release. “She will play a pivotal role in working with all of our markets and the communities we serve throughout the state.”
Powell is a graduate of Williams Baptist University and Arkansas State University.
