National engineering consulting firm Terracon Consultants Inc. announced it has acquired Pollution Management Inc., an engineering and environmental services company with offices in Little Rock and Fayetteville.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

PMI’s 37 employees will immediately become part of Terracon. The firm will continue to operate in Arkansas as Pollution Management Inc., A Terracon Company.

In a news release, Terracon President and CEO Gayle Packer said the deal strengthens its engineering and consulting practice in Arkansas. Terracon already has offices in Little Rock and Rogers.

Packer said the acquisition also brings Terracon in-house construction capabilities that support its design services.

PMI is Terracon’s second acquisition this year, and its 19th acquisition since the beginning of 2017.

PMI executives said the company's clients will benefit from expanded access to Terracon’s national resources and multidiscipline services.

“PMI’s team members will be a great fit in Terracon’s team, and will continue to grow their careers, and enhance client relationships, and add services for our clients,” Doug Ford, PMI vice president, said in the release.
