Moses Tucker Partners has announced plans for a new Mexican restaurant, La Chingada, in the heart of Little Rock's River Market District.
The restaurant will occupy a 5,500-SF space at 313 President Clinton Ave. previously leased by The Library Kitchen & Lounge, which closed in December. It's a project of Jose Valadez and Veronica Mayorga, the owners of Cantina Cinco de Mayo and Mojitos & Margaritas Grill & Bar.
"We are thrilled to be joining a long line of great restaurants downtown," the two said in a statement.
La Chingada is aiming to open in early September. The menu will feature a variety of Mexican dishes, margaritas and mojitos. The restaurant will offer brunch in addition to lunch and dinner.
Some Spanish translations of the restaurant's name are profane. Moses Tucker Partners did not immediately respond when asked by Arkansas Business about whether they were aware of the phrase's meanings.
