Luke Story, formerly the executive director the Arkansas Broadcasters Association, is no longer part of the organization, according to a statement by Greg Horne, the association’s chairman.

“Monika Rued, member services manager, is still in the office assisting the board and our members,” Horne wrote. “A search committee has been formed and starts meeting this week to find our new executive director. Our aim is to make the ABA a model association like it once was. Feel free to contact me or any of the board members if you need anything. We are actively involved this week at the Capitol and the FOIA issue.”

Story, a native of Wayne, Ohio, was a graduate of Piedmont College in northeast Georgia. He relocated to Little Rock in late 2017 to succeed Doug Krile as director of the ABA.

Before coming to Arkansas, Story was director of communications and operations for the Georgia Association of Broadcasters.

The Arkansas Broadcasters Association represents television and radio stations throughout the state.
