
Dr. Richard Chastain has joined CHI St. Vincent of Little Rock as a physician at the CHI St. Vincent Primary Care Clinic in Hot Springs. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and previously served as a family medicine physician at the Baptist Health Family Clinic in Malvern. Dr. Laura Lester has also joined the Primary Care Clinic. Lester completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Regional Campus in Fayetteville. She previously served as family medicine physician at the Baptist Family Clinic in Malvern.
Dr. Adam Reno has joined Unity Health Family Practice Associates in Searcy as a family medicine provider. Reno is board-certified in family medicine.
Samantha Sager has joined the Baptist Health Women’s Clinic in Fort Smith. Sager is an advanced practice registered nurse who most recently worked as a bedside registered nurse in labor and delivery at Baptist Health-Fort Smith for seven years.
Dr. Mauricio Garcia Saenz de Sicilia has rejoined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Department of Internal Medicine in Little Rock as an associate professor and as chief of the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. He served most recently at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis as an associate professor.
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine has appointed Dr. Jessica Snowden as vice dean for research. Snowden is a professor and chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases in the college’s Department of Pediatrics. She joined UAMS in 2018.
Dr. Avnish Tripathi has joined Unity Health of Searcy as an interventional cardiologist. Tripathi completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University.
Casey Willis has been named the chief operating officer of National Park Medical Center of Hot Springs. Willis previously served as an associate administrator at the North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.
Elaina Nix has been promoted to Medicare Advantage director of operations for Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Little Rock. In her new role, Nix will be responsible for the management of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Part D daily operations. She will also continue to manage eligibility and enrollment operations for under 65 products.
