Rebekka Nickols has been hired as director of digital marketing at JCD Consulting of Little Rock. She will be responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaign strategies for political candidates and public affairs at the firm. She was previously senior account executive for MHP/Team SI of Little Rock.
Darrick Williams has been named vice president of education and training at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas. He will develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies.
Natalie Demaree has been hired as communication coordinator at Visit Bentonville. She was previously the social media specialist at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Momentary of Bentonville.
Arya Basu has been named a senior member at the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers. This title is the IEEE’s highest grade and recognizes veteran scientists, engineers and others with at least 10 years of professional experience who have shown significant performance over at least five years and have been nominated by other IEEE fellows and senior members.
Cathie Cline has been appointed to the American Association of Community Colleges Commission on Economic & Workforce Development. She is president of the East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City.
Steven Riley has been named interim director of bands at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Joining A-State in 2018, he has served as assistant director of bands and director of athletic bands.
Allison Shutt has been named the Elbert L. Fausett Distinguished Professor of History at Hendrix College in Conway. She is the sixth Hendrix faculty member to hold the position.
SaraBeth Askins and Madison Stave have been hired as medical staff at Baptist Health-Fort Smith. Askins has worked as a nurse since 2014. Stave has been a nurse since 2020.
Dr. Sarah Luebker has joined White River Health Rheumatology and the medical staff at White River Medical Center.
Dr. Kristopher Magnuson has been hired as director of anesthesia at CARTI of Little Rock. He previously worked at Southern Regional Anesthesia Consultants and for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.
Dr. Cam Patterson has been named one of the 2023 Physicians Leaders to Know by Becker’s Hospital Review. He was the only physician in Arkansas among the 145 leaders recognized. He is the chancellor of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and CEO of UAMS Health.
Harrison Reed has been appointed chief administrative officer and associate vice chancellor for clinical finance and strategy at UAMS Health of Little Rock. He joined UAMS in 2021 as associate vice chancellor for clinical strategy.
