
Tyler Oxner has joined the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation of Little Rock as the director of commodity activities and economics. He will provide economic and regulatory guidance and be the staff coordinator for the aquaculture, forestry, and wheat and feed grains commodity divisions. Also, John McMinn will now oversee the soybean division, along with his work with the specialty crops commodity division and local foods marketing. And Jake Cartwright has assumed responsibilities for the beef, dairy and equine commodity divisions.
Greg Gibson is the new Forrest City market president at Armor Bank of Forrest City. Gibson has nine years of experience as an agricultural lender in eastern Arkansas and will work on the bank’s presence in Forrest City and the agriculture community.
Lindsey Holtzclaw has been promoted from communications specialist to director of marketing for Farm Credit of Western Arkansas. In her new role, she will manage advertising campaigns, event sponsorships, external communications and the corporate brand across 41 western Arkansas counties.
Kimberly Markland has been elected as the third president of the Bank of Little Rock by the board of directors. She was also elected to its board. Markland has been at the bank since 2001.
Jacklyn Powell has been promoted to a bank certified exam manager at the Arkansas State Bank Department. Powell has worked in the department since 1996 and has previous experience as a bank examiner.
Alex Denker has joined Hosto & Buchan of Little Rock as an associate attorney. He is a 2021 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law.
