Four Arkansas hotels have earned the American Automobile Association's Four Diamond Award for 2011.
The Peabody Little Rock, The Capital Hotel in Little Rock, Angel at Rose Hall in Eureka Springs and Pratt Place Inn in Fayetteville all won the award, which recognizes exceptional personal service, amenities and facilities.
The Peabody has earned the award every year since 2002. The Capital Hotel has won it yearly since 2008, Pratt Place since 2009 and Angel at Rose Hall since 1999, according to AAA.
"To achieve and maintain this level of hospitality is a significant accomplishment," said Mike Right, AAA vice president. "Four Diamond establishments consistently deliver a high level of personal comfort and attention to every guest, and we are honored to recognize their commitment to excellence."
AAA's team of full-time professional field inspectors conducts more than 70,000 unannounced evaluations of restaurants and hotels, and assigns diamond ratings to qualifying establishments in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. The AAA Four Diamond symbol is included with winners' listings in the 2011 Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma AAA TourBook travel guide.
