LM Glasfiber, an international wind blade manufacturer based in Denmark with a plant in Little Rock, said Tuesday that it has changed its name to LM Wind Power.
The move is part of a complete update to the firm's brand and corporate identity, which includes a new logo.
"We are looking to the future and changing our name to reflect what we actually do - providing clean power from the wind," said Roland Sunden, CEO of LM Wind Power Group. "But the formation of LM Wind Power for example, is not just about a new name - it relies on the wealth of experience gained over nearly three decades and a renewed vision of the future."
The firm opened its Little Rock operations in 2008.
