The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's parent company is finalizing a deal to buy three newspapers in central Missouri.
WEHCO Media Inc. has signed a letter of intent to purchase the Jefferson City News Tribune, the Fulton Sun and the California Democrat, according to the News Tribune.
Walter E. Hussman Jr. of Little Rock is president of WEHCO Media.
