The former First Minister of Scotland, Henry McLeish, will address the Arkansas Committee on Foreign Relations at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Little Rock Club, on the top floor of the Regions Bank building in downtown Little Rock.
McLeish was the second First Minister of Scotland from 2000 to 2001. He was also in the British Parliament from 1987 to 2001 and in the Scottish Parliament from 1999 to 2003, where he also was the Labour Leader.
He holds a visiting professorship at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he lectures in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Law.
The Arkansas Committee on Foreign Relations is a state affiliate of the American Committees on Foreign Relations.
