Miller, reached by phone at his new LA Autoplex, declined to comment. His landlord, Dee Fiser, owner of Fiser Truck and Tractor, said Miller informed him a couple of weeks ago that he would be closing Arkansas Auto Sales Inc. at 21833 Interstate 30.
"He said the highway construction had caused his business to slow down and that he was relocating to Louisiana," Fiser said.
Miller signed a one-year lease on the 2-acre lot, building and billboard on April 15 and is still current in his rent, according to Fiser
"I never had a problem with him," Fiser said.
Freedom Financial, whose million-dollar annual advertising budget must be sorely missed by local TV stations, shut down in May. It had been the subject of an FBI raid in March, but what agents were looking for and whether any legal action will come of it are unknown.
LA Autoplex was incorporated on Sept. 6, according to the Louisiana Secretary of State's office. Miller is listed as its only officer or director.
