1 min read

7 Brew on Tuesday announced the appointment of Nick Chavez as its first chief marketing officer.

In his new role, Chavez will aim to elevate 7 Brew’s brand presence, leading efforts to position the drive-thru beverage chain as a cultural staple, launch new stands nationwide, increase customer visits and grow the company’s loyalty program.

He brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, having worked in consumer and integrated marketing communications across the restaurant, electronics and digital media industries.

Most recently, Chavez was the chief marketing officer at KFC U.S. There, he worked to attract younger, more diverse audiences to the brand, drove e-commerce growth and launched the KFC Rewards loyalty program.

Prior to KFC, Chavez spent nearly 12 years at Nintendo of America. He also held various marketing roles at Yahoo! for more than a decade.

“[Chavez] is an accomplished marketer with a proven track record of guiding brands through transformative growth. His exceptional experience and results-driven approach make him an ideal addition to the 7 Brew team,” Chris Dawson, president of 7 Brew, said in a press release. “As 7 Brew embarks on its next phase of expansion, [his] expertise in driving sales, engaging younger consumers and executing impactful brand strategies will be invaluable to our continued success.”
