By the time you read this, your chance to buy a rare bit of memorabilia from one of the Razorbacks’ finest moments may have passed.
A basketball has been listed for sale on eBay – specifically, a basketball from the 1994 NCAA men’s championship game, where the team squeezed out a win over Duke University’s twice-champions Blue Devils 76-72 with less than a minute on the clock. It’s signed by the entire team, which was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame last year.
The seller, known as mrs_gresham1, is based in LouAnn (Ouachita County) and has never sold an item on eBay before. The collector’s item was a "buy-it-now" item rather than an auction and was listed at $70,000 or best offer.
The offer to sell was supposed to end on Sunday, but it is common for sellers to relist unsold items. Two offers of unknown size were made in May; both were declined.
We reached out to mrs_gresham1, but did not hear from the seller by press time.
