Crain Automotive Holdings LLC, which operates eight auto dealerships in central Arkansas, said Thursday that it has purchased Kent Dobbs Hyundai in Springdale and Hyundai of Bentonville.
Crain said it will operate the dealerships as Crain Hyundai of Springdale and Crain Hyundai of Bentonville.
The two Hyundai dealerships were purchased from Kent Dobbs, who operated the Springdale location as Kent Dobbs Hyundai and the Bentonville dealership as Hyundai of Bentonville.
A purchase price was not disclosed.
Crain said David Schell will be general manager of the Springdale dealership, and Steve Hawkins will be general manager of the one in Bentonville.
"We are very excited about the addition of these two locations," Chris Crain, Crain Automotive president, said in a news release. "We are excited to expand into the northwest Arkansas market and to continue to grow with the Hyundai brand.
"These dealerships are strategically located in areas where we will be able to serve the entire northwest Arkansas market and we look forward to forging lasting relationships with the customers in the area."
