The Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock has named Kelly Ford as its director of development.
Ford previously was director of development and marketing at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. Before that, she wasassociate director of communications at the Heifer Foundation, where she was responsible for marketing materials and donor communications for planned giving.
"We are delighted to bring a seasoned and successful leader like Kelly Ford to the Arkansas Arts Center," Todd Herman, the center's executive director, said in a news release. "Kelly has been a long-time supporter of the arts and has a proven record of helping organizations succeed.
"She is someone who understands the mission and importance of arts organizations within the community and I believe that she will make a positive impact at the Arts Center."
The Arkansas Arts Center is one of the state's top cultural institutions, featuring a collection of drawings, contemporary craft and other artwork, as well as a Children's Theatre and a studio school.
