ABPG Wins 3 Gold Awards for News, Magazine

Arkansas Business Publishing Group of Little Rock won three gold awards this week from the Alliance of Area Business Publishers’ annual “Editorial and Design Excellence Competition.”

ABPG, which publishes Arkansas Business, Little Rock Soirée and other niche publications and websites, won three national awards competing against business newspapers and magazines around the country:

  • Gold for Arkansas Business in the “breaking news” category for the story on Murphy Oil Corp.’s move to Houston, written by Assistant Editor Kyle Massey and Online Editor Lance Turner.
  • Gold for Arkansas Business in the “best daily email” category for the Morning Roundup e-newsletter, compiled by Turner and edited by Massey. Sign up to receive the newsletter for free.
  • Gold for in the “best ancillary magazine” category for Greenhead magazine, published by Chris Bahn with Editor Brent Birch, Managing Editor Todd Traub and Art Director Dean Wheeler.
