Arkansas Capital Corp. of Little Rock, a special purpose, nonprofit finance company, has rebranded as ACC Capital.
The change reflects the lender’s growth beyond Arkansas. In 2024, the U.S. Small Business Administration license ACC as a small business lending company, allowing the private, non-depository institution to lend to small businesses outside of Arkansas.
“We’re still working hard to empower businesses and individuals through our innovative financial solutions and exceptional service,” ACC Capital said in a news release. “We are committed to fostering growth and prosperity in our communities by providing access to capital, guidance, and support tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.”
ACC Capital received certification as a Community Development Financial Institution in 2015, designating it as specialized financial institution working in market niches underserved by traditional financial institutions.
Since it was founded in 1957, ACC Capital has worked with commercial banks and government agencies at the local, state, regional, and national levels to provide more than $2.34 billion in capital financing.
