E.C. Barton & Co. in Jonesboro
Alec Farmer has been elected to the board of directors for E.C. Barton and Co. of Jonesboro.
Farmer brings more than 30 years of business experience and an extensive background serving on both local and state boards.
He has served as president of Farmer Enterprises Inc. since 1991 and as manager of Alec Farmer Farms LLC since 1988. Farmer also currently serves as a state highway commissioner, a title he has held since 2015.
He serves on the boards for Childress Gin & Elevator Co. and the Craighead County Conservation District as well.
Farmer is an Arkansas State University and University of Arkansas at Little Rock alumnus, and has been a licensed attorney in Arkansas since 1991.
