

Alex Smith has been promoted to senior associate at MCE in Little Rock. Smith joined the team in 2010 after graduating from the University of Arkansas.
Paige Witcher has become the newest associate at the company. She joined the team in 2014 as an office administrator.
Tony Lemke, Daniel Lawrence, Reece Martin and John Spotts have all been promoted at Conway Corp.
Lemke, who has been with the company for 12 years, was promoted to broadband distribution specialist in the cable department, Lawrence and Martin have been promoted to plant operators in the water department, and Spotts has been promoted to installer in the cable department.
Brandon McNew, broadband services technician at Conway Corp., has earned his certification as a Cisco Certified Networking Professional. McNew joined Conway Corp. in August 2006 as an installer trainee.

Cassandra Caldwell has been named executive director of the Arkansas Waterways Commission in Little Rock. Caldwell will replace Diedre Smith, who had served as executive director since 2017.

Cathy Stepp is the new executive director of Ozarks Water Watch, a nonprofit water quality organization in Kimberling, Missouri, that seeks to protect the watersheds of Beaver, Table Rock, Taneycomo and Bull Shoals lakes in Missouri and Arkansas.
David Casaletto, the former executive director, will remain with the nonprofit with the title of president.
Stepp most recently served as administrator of Region 5 of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
John P. Bethel has been named to the board of directors of the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance in Little Rock. Bethel is the director of public affairs at Entergy Arkansas Inc.
