1 min read

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has named Alicia Dorn the chancellor’s chief of staff.

She previously worked as the communications director at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff School of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Human Sciences, where she supervised a staff of five. Before then, she was communications director and a part-time deputy for the Jefferson County sheriff’s office.

In her new role, she’ll be the primary liaison to Chancellor Christina Drale’s office and assist in communication, planning and preparation, project management, and other administrative responsibilities.

The university said one of Dorn’s first major projects will be to assist in the creation of the university’s new five-year strategic plan.

Dorn holds a bachelor’s in mass communication/broadcast journalism from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a master’s in public administration from UA Little Rock.
