Amanda Wilson Denton Brings Copyright Expertise to PPGMR (Movers & Shakers)

Amanda Wilson Denton has joined the Little Rock office of PPGMR Law.

Denton, who has previous experience in Washington at the U.S. Copyright Office and the U.S. Department of Commerce, practices arts and innovation law and will be part of PPGMR’s intellectual property and technology practice.


Rod Nagel, senior vice president for human resource operations at Tyson Foods of Springdale, has been elected president of the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission, and Lincoln County District Judge Vic Harper was re-elected vice chairperson.

Nagel, the first non-attorney to serve in a leadership capacity on the commission, succeeded Chuck Goldner, the retired dean of the Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, who chaired the commission from 2004-10 and again in 2015.

Andrea Walker, managing helpline attorney for Legal Aid of Arkansas in Jonesboro, has been reappointed to a second three-year term on the commission. New commission members are Tiffany Murphy, a law professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Circuit Judge Thomas Smith of Bentonville and Circuit Judge Teresa French of McGehee.
