America’s Car-Mart Moves Headquarters to Rogers

1 min read

America’s Car-Mart Inc. said Friday that it will move its headquarters from Bentonville to the Benchmark Group Building in Rogers.

The new location is a four-story, 114,000-SF office building at 1805 N. 2nd St. and will let the company have its entire headquarters staff on site. Car-Mart had been in a suite at the 28,000-SF Fountain Plaza on SE Plaza Avenue in Bentonville.

“This move represents a significant milestone in the growth and evolution of our company,” Car-Mart CEO Jeff Williams said. “We’re growing and we need a bigger space to accommodate our associates, and to foster a more productive work environment.

“For the first time in a long time, we will have all of our corporate associates in the same facility.”

The publicly traded auto dealer will share the building with Benchmark Group, an architectural and engineering firm. The building is on four acres, has nearly 400 parking spaces and a host of other amenities.

The company’s news release didn’t specify how many employees would work at the new location. Car-Mart, in its 2019 proxy statement, said it employs more than 2,800.

“We are excited to see Car-Mart relocate to Rogers into such a wonderful building in downtown Rogers,” said Raymond Burns, CEO of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. “Any day that jobs are coming to our city is a day to celebrate.”
