Rounds Moves to UAMS Health (Movers & Shakers)

Jason Rounds has been hired as the chief administrative officer and associate vice chancellor for clinical finance for UAMS Health in Little Rock.

He will have responsibility for day-to-day financial operations, including financial analysis, reporting, capital budgets and management of productivity targets and effective staffing levels.

Jefferson Regional in Pine Bluff has announced two promotions within the executive staff: Peter Austin, senior vice president/chief operations officer, and Jeremy Jeffrey, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Austin joined Jefferson Regional in 2012 as vice president of practice management and became vice president/chief operations officer in 2017.

Jeffrey was named vice president/chief financial officer in 2020 and previously served in other leadership roles, including vice president of strategy and business analytics.

Azurdee Andrade has been hired as the director of Hispanic sales and marketing at Habibis Durable Medical Equipment Inc. of North Little Rock. She will handle both Spanish- and English-speaking patients throughout Arkansas and will also oversee marketing through media and attend PR events.

Amy Fallon has been promoted to senior vice president of operations at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. She holds a bachelor of science in radiological health engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s in public health and a doctorate in management and policy science from the University of Texas School of Public Health.
