Angie Cooper to Head Heartland Summit (Movers & Shakers)

Angie Cooper will lead the mission and operations of the Heartland Summit in Bentonville, an annual event held by Heartland Forward, a research institute in Bentonville.

The summit showcases innovation, discusses the challenges of the region and addresses economic growth and problem-solving.

Stuart Pierce is the new general manager/director of golf for Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado. Pierce is a 25-year member of the PGA of America and a 30-year veteran of the golf industry. Pierce has served in leadership roles at a number of golf clubs.

Heath Massey

Heath Massey has been named chief operating officer and interim chief executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Saline County in Benton.

Collins Andrews has been elected to The Venture Center’s board of directors in Little Rock.

Andrews joins the team of eight other community leaders guiding the organization in its mission to support entrepreneurs in Arkansas and around the world.

Robert Steinbuch, a law professor at the UA Little Rock’s Bowen School of Law, will serve as chair of the Arkansas Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
