Apply Now for Arkansas Business’ Executive Leadership Academy

Arkansas Business will host its first virtual Executive Leadership Academy this fall. Applications are now open and the deadline to apply for the program is July 31.

Leaders from a mix of business, nonprofit, education and policy sectors throughout the state are encouraged to apply for the exclusive, five-session leadership development program. The program includes a leadership curriculum, one-on-one coaching, leadership lessons from industry giants in Arkansas and a personalized strengths portrait with advice on how to leverage strengths in crisis management, team building and conflict resolution.

Scheduled as featured speakers this fall are:

• Walmart US CEO John Furner
• J.B. Hunt Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Shelley Simpson
• Arkansas Children’s President and CEO Marcy Doderer
• Field Agent CEO and co-founder Rick West
• Former Tyson Foods Inc. CEO Donnie Smith

Executives will speak on topics ranging from crisis management, servant leadership, best practices for hiring, creating and maintaining company culture and building a management team you can trust.

Fall dates for the virtual five-session program have been set. Virtual classes will be held Aug. 21, Sept. 4, Sept. 18, Oct. 2 and Oct. 16 and class size is limited to 35 participants.

Tuition for the virtual sessions is $2,250.
