Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses to Host Lunch

1 min read

The Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses is set to host an “East Meets West” business luncheon to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The event includes speakers Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin and John Lehart, senior director of Global Government Affairs (Asia) at Walmart Inc. of Bentonville.

It will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at A.W.Lin’s Asian Cuisine Restaurant in Little Rock. Attendees must pre-register here for this free event.

“As Arkansas’ profile continues to rise in the global economy, it is important for us to establish and nourish a support system for local professionals to connect and share resources on their journeys related to Asia,” Yang Luo-Branch, AAAB founder and president, said in a news release.

“This event is a great networking opportunity for professionals like me, who are of Asian ethnicity, as well as Arkansas entrepreneurs who do business with Asian countries.”

This is the second time the organization has hosted a luncheon. Last year, the speakers were Gov. Asa Hutchinson and P. Allen Smith, and Arkansas entrepreneur and television host.
