Arkansas Bar Association Names Leah Donovan Director of Government Relations (Movers & Shakers)

Leah Donovan has been named director of government relations at the Arkansas Bar Association of Little Rock. She previously was a legislative analyst for the Arkansas House of Representatives.


Jamie Barker has been promoted to deputy chief of staff by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders. He previously was director of legislative affairs. Chafer Stanley, former policy adviser on agriculture, energy, environment and regulatory affairs, has been promoted to legislative affairs and policy director. Jack Sisson has been promoted to senior adviser for health care. He previously served as policy director. Selby Tucker, who previously was the policy adviser for budget, economic development and tax, has been promoted to budget director. Morgan Warbington has been promoted to director of faith-based initiatives and special projects. She previously was policy adviser for education.

Jared Garrett has been hired as a director of commodity activities and economics in the commodity and regulatory affairs department at Arkansas Farm Bureau of Little Rock. He recently served as a breeder service technician with Pilgrim’s Pride. In addition, Justin Rotton has joined the public relations team. He previously was deputy chief of communications at the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage & Tourism.


Tara Allen (FNBC)

Tara Allen has been promoted to vice president, Bank Secrecy Act and security officer at FNBC of Ash Flat. She had served as Bank Secrecy Act officer since 2016.

 


Megan Gray has been hired as a financial consultant at Stephens Inc. of Little Rock. She previously was a financial adviser at Edward Jones.


Reid Lynch (FNNB)

Reid Lynch has been hired as senior vice president, FNNB capital markets at First National Bankers Bankshares Inc. of Baton Rouge. Lynch, who will be covering financial institutions in Arkansas, has 19 years of experience in capital markets.


Stephanie Yellen (Stone Bank)

Stephanie Yellen has been hired as vice president/retail operations and development manager at Stone Bank of Little Rock. She previously worked at Simmons Bank and Bank of America. She has more than 20 years of financial experience.


Magen Schlesier (Lexicon Inc.)

Magen Schlesier has been hired as a project administrator at Lexicon Inc. of Little Rock. She will help the project management team by providing administrative and logistical support through the construction process. She previously was director of research and development at ACE Glass Construction Corp.


Jeff Turk has been promoted to president as part of a restructuring of the leadership team of Splash Car Wash & 10-Minute Oil Change of Little Rock. Turk, formerly director of projects, will report directly to owner and CEO Paul Stagg. Stagg also chairs a newly formed board of directors that includes his son Matt Stagg, the company’s chief growth officer, and daughter Natalie Stagg Tschepikow, chief human resource officer.


Mike Clements has been promoted to telecommunications systems senior designer at Conway Corp. He previously was a telecommunication systems designer. Other recent promotions include James Rains, previously a GIS senior technician, to GIS coordinator; Justin Kimbrow to lead telecom maintenance technician; and Wesley Manion to lead telecommunications installer technician.


Chris Darden (Entergy Arkansas)

Chris Darden has been promoted to director of distribution operations for the central region at Entergy Arkansas of Little Rock. He previously was senior manager of operations and construction. He has been with Entergy for 15 years.
