1 min read

Associated General Contractors of Arkansas (AGCAR) has been recognized as National Chapter of the Year by Associated General Contractors of America.

This is the second win for AGCAR. With consecutive wins in 2023 and 2024, Arkansas sets a historic 106-year-old record by being the first and only state to win the National Chapter of the Year award two years in a row in the small chapter division.

The Associated General Contractors of America recognizes three of its 89 chapters annually that have developed exceptional programming and achieved tangible accomplishments, like impactful legislation and workforce development efforts. One winner is chosen from the small division (less than $1 million), medium division ($1 million–$2.5 million) and large division (more than $2.5 million).

In a press release, AGCAR attributed the award to legislative wins which impacted building, highway and utility contractors and the Arkansas construction industry, 47 statewide events with record-breaking attendance, new workforce development initiatives and substantial growth in membership.
