Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary Commits $8M to Expansion Project

1 min read

The Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) Auxiliary on Wednesday announced an $8 million commitment to Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s $318 million expansion project.

The nonprofit auxiliary, which helps ACH patients and families through fundraising and service projects, also celebrated a record donation of $1.65 million from its annual fundraising efforts over the past year. The contribution marks the 15th consecutive year the auxiliary has raised more than $1 million for the hospital.

“This donation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers over the last year — volunteers who have tirelessly fundraised to make this record-breaking gift possible,” Brooke Hicks, president of the ACH Auxiliary, said in a news release. “We are also extremely proud to announce the Auxiliary’s commitment of $8 million to support this vital expansion of ACH. This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our community, sponsors and volunteers.”

Arkansas Children’s served a record 180,000 children in its 2024 fiscal year and expects the need for services to continue to grow.

The expansion project aims to deliver better access and patient outcomes, as well as improved on-campus experiences.
