
Brian Kim
Arkansas Colleges of Health Education has hired Brian Kim to serve as its new president.
Kim will take over the presidential responsibilities previously held by CEO Kyle Parker, who will continue as CEO.
Prior to joining ACHE, Kim was vice president for the Department of Accreditation and Associate General Counsel for the American Osteopathic Association.
Previously, he served as counsel to the District of Columbia Board of Medicine, assistant attorney general for the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General Civil Litigation Division, and was the first Asian American judge appointed to the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County by the governor.
Kim has more than 20 years of academic experience and has held teaching positions at the University of Baltimore School of Law, University of Maryland School of Law and George Mason University School of Law. His professional career includes 35 years of legal experience.
A U.S. citizen born in Seoul, Korea, Kim graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and received his Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School.
