Rodney Showmar, president and CEO of Arkansas Federal Credit Union of Little Rock, will continue his term on the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. In addition, John Beller, president and CEO of the Bank of Cave City, will continue his tenure on the council.

Tammie Davis has been hired as senior vice president for community strategy and performance at Simmons Bank of Pine Bluff.

Michael Lamoureux has been hired as partner at Capitol Counsel of Washington, D.C. Lamoureux is a former member of both the Arkansas House of Representatives and the Arkansas Senate.

Mike Coulson was awarded the 2024 William F. Rector Memorial Award for Distinguished Civic Achievement from Fifty for the Future of Little Rock. Coulson is the chairman of the board of Coulson Oil Co. of North Little Rock.

Dr. Deanna Sasaki-Adams has been named chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine of Little Rock.

Harold Dean has been named to the Board of Oncology Social Work Certification of Pittsburgh. Dean is the social work program manager at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Myeloma Center.

Stephanie Trevino Slagle has been hired as communications manager at the Arkansas Advanced Energy Association and the Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation of Little Rock.
