Arkansas Hospice of North Little Rock on Wednesday announced that it had acquired First Choice Senior Care of Little Rock.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Arkansas Hospice said in a news release that the non-medical, in-home care provided by First Choice will expand its services. First Choice will operate as a subsidiary of Arkansas Hospice and will continue to provide services to seniors in their homes, retirement communities, assisted living care facilities and nursing homes across central Arkansas.
“The addition of FCSC to our family of companies is a wonderful opportunity for us to meet the needs of seniors where they are, improve their quality of life, and provide an added layer of support for their caregivers,” Arkansas Hospice CEO Judy Wooten said in the release.
First Choice co-founder Kayla Bogle is joining Arkansas Hospice in a managerial role.
“We’re excited to be a part of the Arkansas Hospice organization, their 30-year legacy, and their outstanding reputation for providing the highest quality of care,” she said.
The acquisition will not cause changes to client care or billing.
Arkansas Hospice is the state’s largest hospice care provider, with locations in 43 counties.
