Mark Hamer was sworn in last month as Arkansas’ first honorary consul of the Federal Republic of Germany. He is an international sales engineer at Power Technology of Little Rock.
Kaitlin G. Blakely has been hired as an attorney at the Blair & Stroud Law Firm of Batesville. She is a 2023 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Bowen School of Law.
Chris Blair, CEO of Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville, has joined the board of the Greater Bentonville Chamber of Commerce. Also named to the board were Scott Cooper, regional physician executive at Mercy Arkansas, and Lee Culpepper, vice president of public affairs at Walmart. In addition, four board members have announced plans to continue to serve on the board: Martine Pollard, vice president for northwest Arkansas at Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield and chair of the chamber board; Chris Schnurbusch, president of the southeast region at Crossland Construction and incoming board chair; Brad Crain, president and CEO of Arvest Benton County at Arvest Bank and secretary/treasurer of the board; and Monica Kumar, belonging, equity and inclusion strategist with the Northwest Arkansas Council and past chair of the chamber board.
Robin Hackett, chief operating officer of First Service Bank of Greenbrier, has been named the Business Executive of the Year by the Conway Chamber of Commerce.
Justin Harris has been promoted to chief executive officer of the Community South region of Equity Bank of Wichita, Kansas. Harris, of Harrison, will continue to lead the Ozark Mountain region, where he has been president, as well as the Southeast Kansas region.
Angela Moss has been promoted to executive assistant to the chief operating officer at First Service Bank of Greenbrier. Moss, who has 24 years of experience, previously was a customer care specialist and part-time video teller at the bank’s Care Center.
Phil Phillips has been hired as mortgage loan officer for the Fayetteville region by the Bank of Fayetteville division of Farmers & Merchants Bank of Stuttgart. He has been in the banking industry for more than 20 years. Jenny Riggles has been hired as consumer loan officer for the Fayetteville region.
